Role Description

While much of work will fall within regular office hours, a quantum of flexibility is expected and required in order to meet business requirements as and when the need arises. The below list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may be reasonably be expected within the scope of the post.

Essential Criteria

  • A relevant third level qualification
  • Five years relevant industry experience, 3 years of which in a middle management position or above
  • Demonstrate three years’ experience of managing teams
  • Significant experience in professional client relationship management
  • Proven track record in client base and service portfolio growth
  • Experience of tender writing, pitch development and presentation
  • Demonstrate ownership in developing and implementing fully integrated client marketing campaigns, including managing budgets and delivering profitability on client accounts
  • The ability to plan and organize account handling resource, optimizing productivity and delivering best in class service levels
  • Experience in managing internal briefing sessions to ensure all key parties are aligned and that there is a clear understanding of roles / responsibilities throughout
  • Experience of overseeing the strategic approach and adding strategic value to major client briefs
  • Demonstrate full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms
  • Experience of collaborative working with creative, media and digital teams to develop and deploy fully integrated campaigns
  • Experience of overseeing research and insight formulation using a range of sources and methods

Desired Criteria

  • FMCG and/or Retail Sector Experience
  • At least three years agency experience at Account Management Level or above
  • A sound knowledge and application of media channels including traditional and digital to meet the needs of a client brief
  • Delivery of award-winning campaigns
