Key Responsibilities

Digital Leader

  • Detailed knowledge of the digital media landscape, websites and social media platforms
  • Ability to develop and implement digital media strategies for brands in a range of business sectors, within both a B2B and a B2C capacity
  • Ability to make strategic recommendations to clients about their digital presence and to recommend social media platforms
  • Work with the wider digital team and creative teams within MXB to ensure content strategies are effective and that insights are being plugged

Media and Strategy Development

  • Develop bespoke digital media strategies for our client brands in line with their marketing objectives and commercial objectives
  • Review digital Strategy for effectiveness, making recommendations to clients to optimise their results
  • Understand how to approach digital strategy for a range of client requirements relation to Ecom, SEO, PPC, Social, CRM, Lead conversion
  • Ability to review campaigns against key performance metrics, split test and apply learnings
  • Ability to produce reporting with strategic insight and recommendation and to oversee the implementation of any change in tactics with the wider digital team
  • Ability to make budget recommendations, provide rationale and evaluate ROI

Team Development

  • Work with the wider Digital Team to review approach to client digital media and lead the product
  • Identify team training needs and propose how these can best be addressed
  • Show leadership of the agency’s digital presence and ensure creative and content teams are onboard with the strategy and that implementation is timely and to budget
  • Create award submissions with the support of the wider team for our digital and social media client campaigns
  • Represent MXB at industry leading events and profile your role and the agency

Essential Criteria


  • 3+ Yrs Experience as a digital media specialist (in-house or agency)
  • 3+ years managing wide ranging digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience managing CRM, PPC, SEO, e-marketing content marketing programmes with proven effectiveness


  • Excellent analytical capability
  • Ability to draw insight and make strategic recommendation
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Understanding of financial controls, budget management and reporting


  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Google analytics certification
